About our Minga Berlin Striped Over the Knee Socks - Layer Cake Mint Chocolate OTK
These are the show-offs from the Minga Berlin collection. They're called "Layer Cake" for their stacked horizontal stripes of gorgeous color. This one is "Mint Chocolate" and features a thin mint green stripes among wide bands of brown, taupe and aqua.
Like baking a layer cake, it takes somewhat of a professional to mix these opposing elements in the right proportions for an outcome that's not a total mess. These are anything but, we like to call them a masterpiece of color.
If easy on the eyes wasn't enough, these are also soft to the touch, made of 75% organic cotton, with a side of nylon to help them contour to your shape.
Quality: "Fine and Light"
Fit: "Tight Fit" These are a European style and run small. Scrunched down as a knee high they fit a broader range, over the knee they may pinch wider thighs.
Backstory: Our hearts stopped when we saw the stunning color combinations of the Minga Berlin over the knee socks. Fashion forward, bold, and original; the exquisite color pairings were everything we look for in a sock, plus they're over the knee?! AND organic cotton?! Yeah, we were sold. Some very serious sock negotiations, foreign transactions, currency conversions, and import taxes and duties later- we had the Minga Berlin socks, direct from Germany, now in the US! And we couldn't be happier!
